About the event

Acclaimed author and scholar Dr. Catherine Meeks will begin the Summit with a reflection from her new book asserting that a new conversation on race is needed. This will be followed by a panel representing the four major marginalized groups, African American, Asian American, Indigenous and Latino, exploring some of the roads that led us to our present situation and ways to imagine a new conversation on race and a new way ahead to racial healing.


The audience will be invited to engage in small group discussions and interactions with the panel.


Registration: $40.00 includes light breakfast, lunch and a copy of Dr. Meeks’ new book, Bridging the Rivers of Difference: A Proclamation of Unity in Resistance
